Raleigh Rescue Mission

  • Resources: Bagged meals, vocational development, homelessness and recovery assistance. They also offer longer term assistance through vocational training, housing assistance, and transportation.
  • Hours: Bagged meals handed out daily at from 7-8AM, 12-1PM, and 4-5PM
  • Volunteer: Mentors are always needed (specifically female mentors), volunteers for food distribution, organizing donations, etc. Learn more.

  • Resources: They offer a variety of treatment programs and housing services for individuals suffering from substance abuse and mental health issues.

Raleigh Dream Center

Oak City Cares

  • Resources: A comprehensive, coordinated approach to making homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in Wake County. Key services address housing, employment, health, and hunger for the most vulnerable of our Wake County neighbors who struggle to navigate the multitude of services available.

  • Hours: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, they offer three meals at three meal times: 9AM, 12:30PM, and 3:00PM. Showers and laundry are available M-F / 9AM-5PM

Advance Community Health

  • Resources: A community health program that delivers primary care, pediatrics, dental care, health care for homeless, and much more.

Helping Hands Mission

  • Resources: They provide families in need with food, clothing, furniture, and shelter. The Mission offers 16 programs and events, all free of charge, to help children, teens, elderly, homeless, handicapped, disabled, low income and victims of fire become self sufficient.
